Translation Services
I offer English into Czech translations. I translate exclusively into my mother tongue, Czech.
My areas of specialisation are IT and Webdesign, translation (localization) of websites and web apps; and general Humanities, in particular History
but I am also experienced with various types of texts ranging from business and personal correspondence, manuals, brochures, documentation, advertising to journalistic and literary texts.
Translated documents can be delivered via e-mail, post, burned on a CD/DVD, or any way you prefer.
Editing and proofreading
I offer editing and proofreading for texts that have been translated into Czech, as well as those originally written in Czech.
How much does it cost?
The cost of translation services depends on various factors: subject matter, intended audience, volume, deadline, formatting requirements etc.
Translation prices are based either on a “rate per word” or a “rate per standard page” (=1800 characters including spaces). You can choose whether you want to receive a quote “per word” or “per standard page”.
Editing and proofreading jobs are charged on an hourly basis.
To get your free quote, please provide either the document to be translated or at least a representative sample. State your deadline and any other important information, such as the purpose (intended audience) of the translated text.
